Parental Involvement
Parental involvement Policy
Parental involvement means the participation of parents in regular, two-way, and meaningful communication involving student academic learning and other school activities, including ensuring the following:
- Parents play an integral role in assisting their child's learning and in their child's academic success;
- Parents are actively involved in their child's education at school;
- Parents are full partners in their child's education and are included, as appropriate, in decision-making and on advisory committees to assist in the education of their child.
Parent and Student Resources for English Language and Mathematics
America's schools are working to provide higher quality instruction than ever before. The way we taught students in the past simply does not prepare them for the higher demands of college and careers today and in the future. Our school and schools throughout the country are working to improve teaching and learning to ensure that all children will graduate high school with the skills they need to be successful.
