SB 533 Workplace Violence Prevention Plan
EMPLOYERS ARE REQUIRED TO:
- Establish, implement, and maintain an effective workplace violence prevention plan
- Provide effective training to employees on the workplace violence prevention plan and provide additional training when a new or previously unrecognized workplace violence hazard has been identified and when changes are made to the plan
- Record information in a violent incident log for every workplace violence incident
- Create and maintain records of workplace violence hazard identification, evaluation, and correction and training and violent incident logs and workplace incident investigation records
- SUSD’s Workplace Violence Prevention Plan is linked below for reference and is located in the Injury Illness and Prevention Plan at each school site and department
- Employees wishing to file a Workplace Violence Reporting Form located below.
