Orchard Elementary School
It is the mission of Orchard Elementary School to ensure all students learn at high levels. Within our school community, students will grow and learn in a positive and respectful environment where staff, students, and families are enthusiastic about the learning process.
We believe that the most promising strategy for achieving the mission of our school is to develop our
capacity to function as a professional learning community. We envision a school in which staff:
- Unite to achieve a common purpose
- Work together - interdependently- in collaborative teams
- Seek and implement best practices to increase student achievement
- Monitor student progress on a frequent basis
- Demonstrate commitment to the academic and social emotional success of all students

SYLVAN SPOTLIGHT
Sandi Larsen
We are thrilled to introduce Orchard's new school librarian, Sandi Larsen. With a deep passion for fostering a love of reading and a family background in education, Sandi is a wonderful addition to our school community. Sandy brings her enthusiasm for books, technology, and creative learning to our library, making it an inviting and engaging space for all students. She believe(s) that the library is not just a place for books but a hub for exploration, imagination, and discovery. Through various programs and activities, Sandi aims to inspire every child to see reading as an adventure and to support them in their academic journey.
We are excited for the new energy and ideas Sandi will bring to our school, and we look forward to seeing how she will enrich our children's educational experiences. Please join me in welcoming Sandi to our school!
